We have written a lot about the active ingredients and absorption of our ginseng preparations. We will now discuss the order in which it is recommended to take one or another ginseng product.
1. If you have never tried a 6-year-old Korean ginseng herbal supplement.
🔸I would definitely draw your attention to the principle of gradualness. That is, do NOT try the strongest formulations first: Saponin Plus Ginseng Capsules, or Royal Rg3 300, but choose a ginseng extract that you can easily dispense in smaller amounts. For example, Enzymes Fermented Korean Ginseng, or another Ginseng Extract, Ginseng Port or Ginseng Tea.
Of course, you also need to consider the amount of support your body needs. So for example, if you are sometimes tired, need to maintain your immune system or improve your mental capacity, I would recommend an extract that you take only half a gram a day for the first 2-3 weeks, then after 3-4 weeks you can increase to 1 gram a day. In the meantime, it's worth monitoring your body's response to what dose of ginseng it starts to respond to. It's worth keeping that amount as long as your body stays in the same state.
If an unexpected illness should happen, the body may need more help, in which case you can temporarily increase the dose, for example from 1 gram to 1.5-2 grams.
2. If you have been taking ginseng for several months.
🔸It is recommended that you alternate between different products (if your lifestyle and tastes allow). For example, we have found it works for us to take a box of Saponin Capsules (60 capsules, enough for 60 days), followed by a small bottle of Black Ginseng (50 grams, enough for about 50 days), followed by a bottle of Enzimes Fermented Red Ginseng Extract 90g (enough for about 90 days).
The idea is that the different products introduce different proportions of ginsenosides, the active ingredient in ginseng, into the body. As we have written before, scientists have now discovered nearly 200 different types of ginsenosides, each of which can solve different problems. For more information, click here!
So it's not only in your diet that you should look for variety, but also when taking ginseng, for example.
