Korean Ginseng - Wondering how much ginseng you need?

NO 2 PEOPLE ARE THE SAME

Although people like to think in terms of stereotypes, as it makes it easier to understand and make sense of the world, it is important to remember that no two people are the same when it comes to consuming ginseng. So, even if two people have the same parameters (age, gender, body type, lifestyle, etc.), it is almost impossible for them to experience exactly the same effects of ginseng. The human body is much more complex than that. Also, the same person can have better days and worse days and, as a consequence, ginseng does not have the same effects.

▶ If you are going to take ginseng for the first time

Always start with the state of your health at the time.
1. General use
  • you are mostly fine,
  • you can go about your daily activities,
  • but you want to support your immune system,
  • you want to be fitter and fresher,
  • you want to maintain your circulation
  • and prevent any deterioration,
then the firstproduct we recommend is Enzimes Fermented Red Ginseng Extract 90g (click here). Due to the enzyme technology you can expect excellent absorption and as it is a thick, liquid extract, you can easily start with up to half a teaspoon for the first use (the daily recommended dose is 1 metal teaspoon of 10mg/g of ginsenoside active ingredient). Watching the body's reaction, you can increase the dose after 2-3 weeks if necessary.
If you don't want to taste the pungent taste of ginseng, but want to take ginseng with excellent absorption, then Saponin Plus Ginseng Capsules are for you (click here). It is recommended to take 1 capsule per day in the morning for the first 2-3 weeks (15mg/g active ingredient ginsenoside), increasing the dose as needed.
Enzimes Ginseng, Saponin Plus, Ginseng Tea, Ginseng Powder
If you would like to try a product made from 6 year old Korean ginseng for the first time, which is weaker than the above 2 products, we recommendGinseng teas, click here! The Ginseng teas can be prepared hot or cold thanks to their granular form.
A weaker, beginner's option may be the finely ground 6-year-old root Red Korean Ginseng Powder (click here), which is less concentrated than the extracts. It is recommended to be consumed mixed in water, tea or juice.
According to experts, you should expect any effect after taking ginseng for at least 30 days. However, years of experience have shown that after 1-2 weeks, people generally report feeling fitter, with an easier start in the morning and less or no fatigue in the late afternoon. Further benefits are felt after 3-4 weeks or more.
2. Extra help needed
  • You are in an extra weakened state;
  • you are extra tired and have been tired for a long time;
  • you can hardly get out of bed;
  • you are about to undergo chemo/radiotherapy,
  • or you are in the recovery period after an operation
Royal Rg3 300 - Enzimes Fermented Korean Red Ginsengwe recommend Royal Rg3 (click here) . This is an extremely strong product with a very high active ingredient (50mg/g ginsenoside), so whether you are taking ginseng for the first time or have been taking it for a long time, you should increase the daily dose gradually. Don't take the whole sachet on the morning of the first day, but for example a quarter or half, depending on how much support your body needs. Watching your body's response, you can increase the dose after a few days or 1 week if necessary.

▶ If you have been taking Korean ginseng for 6 years or have been taking it for a while

In our personal experience, even if you have been taking ginseng continuously, it is worth alternating products. Our products contain different proportions of the different ginsenoside active ingredients, so they can affect the body differently. As we've written about before, researchers know of nearly 200 different types of ginsenosides, and they can solve different problems. For more on this, click here!

And if you find that ginseng is no longer working for you as it used to, you may be going through a very difficult time and it may be worth increasing your daily dose. If this doesn't help, you may have developed a tolerance (your body is no longer responding to ginseng). In this case, it is recommended that you take a break of at least 1-2 weeks. After that, ginseng consumption can be resumed.
